The institute showcased its laboratory facilities, in Sciences and Engineering, to the visitors through experiments, scientific demonstrations, and exhibitions, as per an official statement.
ITRAM, located in Maninagar, Ahmedabad displayed its state-of-the-art-laboratories, drones, workshop and other facilities to the visitors during the open house held on Wednesday. More than 500 school and college students, parents and teachers visited the institute. In addition to the regular Science and Engineering laboratories, IITRAM also showcased the facilities in all the five centers of Excellence. Students studying in senior grades and colleges enjoyed visiting the lab facilities, learning about drones, live experiments etc. Children of class 5 to 10 enjoyed the puzzles, magic mysteries, drones, workshop, chemistry experiment school, physics lab etc. Coordinator of Outreach Activities, Dr. Gautam Borisagar stated ‘We wanted to infuse curiosity about STEM education through this open house. The curious and happy faces of young minds motivate us to open house regularly. Currently, work is going on to teach mathematics through activity, which will have a long-term positive impact on the learning and teaching of Science and related fields’.
